Pizza from scratch may seem like a daunting task, but it's not as hard as you think!
Detroit-Style Pizza is one of the best; thick, crispy, cheesy, and totally different from your typical slice. In this class, we’ll break down what makes it special and show you how to make it at home without overcomplicating things.

You’ll start by mixing your own pizza dough, learning what to look for in a good dough and how to handle a wetter style that bakes up light and fluffy inside with a crispy, caramelized edge.

While the dough is rising, we’ll shift gears and make the Best Ranch Dressing you've ever had for dipping your pizza or making a salad (incredible for wings too). A Chopped Romaine Salad starts the meal, topped with ranch, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, and oregano.

Then you'll make a Detroit-Style Pizza. We've put together some topping combos or you can mix and match to make your own...

Our recipes use common ingredients that may not be listed on the menu, including fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, and wheat flours. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction we should be aware of, please call or email before attending class. We may or may not be able to accommodate without advance notice.

All sales are final. A minimum 48-hour notice via email (info@thelearningkitchen.com) is required for rescheduling. A minimum 7-day notice via email is required for rescheduling reservations of four or more guests. If you are unable to attend a class, you are encouraged to send someone in your place. We cannot make exceptions.
